I still can't get over the news that Double Arts will end in the next chapter. I haven't read a lot of mangas so for me the story is very fresh and unique. Curse you Weekly Shonen Jump!

  • Anime and Manga museum being planned for Kobe, Japan. Another tourist destination for foreign otakus.

  • BECK side story manga will be released in October featuring "The Last Day of Eddie Lee."

  • Tonari no 801-chan anime got cancelled. I don't really like the manga so I couldn't care less.

  • Minami-Ke season 3 got a go signal. I wasn't very satisfied with season 2 so I hope this will be better.

Double Arts Manga

Edit: Damn, I think I'm cursed. I posted Mx0 before then it got cancelled. Now Double Arts will be ending abruptly too! Wut da hell?!

I haven't done any updates on the site recently because I'm hooked up reading manga. The latest in my list is Double Arts.

Double Arts is created by Naoshi Komi and was recently serialized in the Weekly Shōnen Jump. The story starts with a young healer (aka Sister) Elraine healing a patient with Troi. Troi is a disease that is transmitted through skin contact. Once infected, a person will die in due time, racking up convulsions, will become transparent then fade away, only leaving their clothes behind.

There is no cure for the disease. The only treatment are done by the Sisters. They are women with unusually high resistance to Troi. They heal patients by absorbing the toxin themselves but once they reach their limit, they too will die.

Xam'd: Lost Memories

If you are looking for an action/adventure type anime and liked Eureka Seven, you will like Xam'd: Lost Memories.

The story is about Akiyuki Takehara, a young man living peacefully in Sentan Island. One day, while going to school, he encounters a white-haired girl who mysteriously blows up their bus and transfers to him the power to turn into a Xam'd. While trying to save his friend Haru from a humanform, he was saved by another girl named Nakiami who forces him to go with her. She then starts teaching him how to control his newfound power and trying to look for the will of the Xam'd.

Browsing through /a/ late last night and saw this getting passed around. This is currently version 7. I can't guarantee it's accuracy but you may use it as a guide of what maybe released.

There's a good selection of animes coming up. So far I'm waiting for Casshern Sins, Tora Dora, Gundam 00, Nodame Cantabile, CLANNAD After Story and Lucky Star OVA ^^

Code Geass R2 21: Ragnarok Connection

Some more rumors came true in this episode. I won't be recounting every single event that happened since everyone will watch (or have watched) it anyway.

Warning: Spoilers Spoilers Spoilers.

All the major players are on the Kamine Island and Marianne reveals to Suzaku that she is Lelouch and Nunnally's mother. In the Ikaruga, Kallen is still longing to see Lelouch to ask some questions (just say "do you love me Lelouch?" already! damnit).

If you are looking for a comedy, ecchi manga, check Nana and Kaoru. ^^
